The Gasthof Jägerwirt is located in the idyllic Neufahrn district of Schäftlarn, in the south of the Upper Bavarian county of Munich. Hiking
A number of well-established walking routes draw active people out into the wonderful countryside. After a successful hike, you will be rewarded with a magical panoramic view. For sustenance, we recommend a light meal in one of the many Alpine huts.
Cycling
A number of wonderful cycling paths run along the rivers and through the plains. Go on a day trip with your trekking bike or e-bike and visit many wonderful places in the surrounding area. Mountain bikers can cycle up the nearby summits.
Summer and winter
The Alps and the Alpine foothills provide opportunities for a number of activities. In summer, visitors are delighted by the countryside and its beautiful flora. In winter, the snow transforms the landscape into a dreamy idyll whose beauty is captivating.
GaPa & the surrounding area
You can reach Garmisch-Partenkirchen in just one hour. Here you can spend a fun day skiing, tobogganing, snowboarding or ice skating. If you want to see the full splendour of the countryside, go snowshoe hiking or cross-country skiing.
Munich
The Bavarian state capital of Munich with its numerous tourist attractions, parks, viewpoints, museums and venues such as the BMW “World of Experience” are just 30 minutes away by car from Gasthof Jägerwirt.
Lakes
The guest house is located right on the Isar. Also close by is Lake Starnberg, a highlight for many athletes and lovers of good food. There are a number of lakes in the area such as: Walchensee, Staffelsee, Eibsee or the Tegernsee.
